CECU Events

CECU hosts a variety of professional development offerings spanning from live to online events throughout the year for all members of the career education sector.

The Career Education Convention brings together sector leaders and industry experts in one space. Held in June, the Convention is the largest gathering of post secondary career education professionals nationwide. The CFO and Business Officer Symposium has been designed at the request of school leaders looking for additional resources surrounding all things accounting, finance, and compliance at their institutions. CECU's Advocacy Day event is an opportunity for institutions of higher education to get more involved in our political outreach program. The Advocacy Day agenda is designed to provide attendees the most recent and comprehensive update on the latest federal events and sector research.

Held annually in the fall, the Executive Summit is the meeting space for education executives to discuss sector leadership, share ideas and network. The Leadership Institute was established to further educate and develop emerging campus leaders. With over 40 years of history, it is the longest standing sector event. CECU hosts approximately two online webinars per month to the membership. Webinars are available in real time or archived for future reference and cover a variety of topics.
