Samantha Cornmesser serves as the Director of Member Partnerships at Career Education Colleges and Universities (CECU), where she plays a pivotal role in driving the association’s membership and partnership strategies. With nearly 20 years of combined experience in sales management and marketing, she brings a wealth of knowledge in relationship building, strategic sales, and coalition development to her role.
At CECU, Samantha is responsible for cultivating and securing partnership opportunities, while promoting the association’s membership, sponsorships, and advertising services. She works closely with the Events team to ensure successful execution of sponsorships and fosters strong relationships with prospective and current partners to advance CECU’s goals.
A first-generation college graduate who attended a career school herself, Samantha is passionate about supporting the private, postsecondary career education sector. She values the power of human connection and is committed to creating meaningful relationships that drive success for CECU and its members. Her extensive background in diverse industries—from retail to marketing—has helped her relate to members, understand their pain points, and offer valuable insights on connecting with higher education professionals.
In addition to her role at CECU, Samantha was recognized as one of LeadsCon's Rising Stars in performance marketing. She has spoken at national conferences on topics ranging from AI in education to communication strategies for engaging students and fostering relationships.
