Clery Act Compliance Essentials for Career Schools
Campus safety is a major issue for every school, large or small, public or private. An effective safety program is an essential part of your school’s overall risk management strategy and is one of the best ways to protect your “brand.” In this session, a senior advisor with the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Federal Student Aid will focus on the Clery compliance from the postsecondary career school perspective. Among other topics, we will examine how the Clery Act’s sexual assault prevention requirements intersect with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972. Participants will also receive practical advice and effective strategies for developing and implementing vital campus safety and crime prevention policies, procedures, and programs. Although time is allotted for live Q&A, attendees are encouraged to submit questions ahead of time through the webinar registration form.
