Using specific trauma-informed principles (safety, trustworthiness and transparency, peer support, collaboration, etc.), to serve as a guide for student affairs professionals to assess their own capacity for trauma-informed practice, while also providing key strategies of ways to engage, connect, and evolve through a trauma-informed framework, relevant to various student facing roles. In this session, participants will develop and sharpen the skills that are necessary to be able to cultivate, maintain, and most importantly sustain, a culture in which trauma-informed practice (T.I.P.) becomes a normalized, reflexive, and engrained process of awareness.
