12/23/2020

Career Education Colleges and Universities (CECU) President and CEO, Dr. Jason Altmire, issued the following statement following President-Elect Joe Biden’s decision to nominate Connecticut Education Commissioner Miguel Cardona as the next U.S. Secretary of Education.
“All of us at CECU congratulate Commissioner Cardona on his appointment. Given his long and distinguished career in education leadership, he is well-positioned for success in this important role. We look forward to working with him in the years ahead as we discuss the best ways to prepare and train students for high-demand jobs, measure student success, and improve accountability and transparency across all sectors of higher education.”
