December 1, 2017 – Arlington, Va. – Career Education Colleges and Universities (CECU) praised Chairwoman Virginia Foxx on the introduction of a proposal to reauthorize the Higher Education Act as a victory for students of all backgrounds by directly connecting the Act with jobs and career training.
September 1, 2017 – Arlington, Va. – The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reported that 7.1 million Americans were unemployed in June, while at the same time 6.2 million jobs remain unfilled in America. This jobs gap exists because millions of prospective employees lack appropriate career education, training and skills.
