2021 Annual Convention!
We are excited to host the 2021 Annual Convention in Grapevine, TX at the Gaylord Texan. This event has become the largest gathering for leaders in postsecondary career education across America to listen, learn and engage with thought leaders in the field. Including various keynote speakers, idea generating opportunities, educational sessions and networking connections, the 2021 Convention will not disappoint!
We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic in order to plan a safe and successful event for all attendees. Because of this, CECU will be postponing the schedule for booth and attendee registration to Spring 2021 in order to make the best possible decision regarding the event.

Important Dates & Deadlines
We recommend attendees arrive Monday evening and leave no earlier than Friday morning to take full advantage of the Convention.
Registration prices are separated by Member/Nonmember and School/Allied types.
School Members Registration: any administrator, executive or faculty currently employed at a college or university
Allied registration: anyone not employed at a college or university
Cancellation Policy: Registration fees will be refunded only if written notice of cancellation is received at CECU on or before May 1, 2021. In the event of a written cancellation, 30% of the registration fee will be retained to cover administrative costs. After May 1, 2021, NO refunds will be given. Please note that this cancellations policy applies only to attendees. Please see the the exhibitor page for information regarding booth cancellations.
Payments: All attendee registration payments are due to CECU by May 1, 2021. Checks can be mailed to 1530 Wilson Boulevard, Suite 1050, Arlington, VA 22209. Please refer to the exhibit hall page for dates related to exhibit booth registration.
*Pricing for additional school attendees is based on two attendees from the same institution registering at the "First Two School Attendees" price.
**Each 10x10 booth includes two complimentary exhibitor attendees. Exhibitors will receive a discount code to register attendees with.
***Guest registrants will only be granted access to the exhibit hall for evening receptions.
Call for Sessions
The 2021 Call for Sessions will begin March 1, 2021 and will end April 1, 2021.
The 2021 Convention schedule will be posted spring 2021.

Hotel & Travel
Please Note: CECU has not given any third parties permission to block, reserve, or book hotel reservations on their behalf. If you receive inquiries from a third party to book hotel reservations, this constitutes an interference with CECU’s contractual agreement with the hotel. In addition, CECU has no recourse for reservations made through a third party. These inquiries are misleading solicitations to CECU’s attendees and exhibitors, which are not authorized by CECU. These companies have no affiliation with CECU. Please do not respond to these attempts. All CECU endorsed and negotiated housing options are posted here on our website.
Gaylord Texan Resort will provide shared transportation services to and from DFW Airport every 30 minutes (at every hour and half hour) between 5 am - 8 pm daily. The fee is $17 per person. Guests arriving to DFW Airport should call 817-778-2400 to book their transportation to the hotel. Guests departing from the hotel to DFW Airport can also call to make a reservation, or simply walk up to the transportation podium on the front drive.
When planning your trip to the CECU Convention, it's suggested that attendees arrive no later than noon on Monday, June 14, 2021 to allow enough time for you to travel from the airport to the hotel and get settled prior to the start of the Convention. Please plan to arrive earlier if you are taking advantage of the pre-conference activities/meetings.
Travel suggestion - we recommend that attendees arrive Monday evening and leave no earlier than Friday morning to take full advantage of the Convention offerings!

Cancellations and Refunds: In the event of cancellation of the Convention due to fire, strikes, government regulation or other causes beyond CECU control, CECU shall not be liable for failure to hold the Convention as scheduled, and CECU shall determine the amount of exhibit fees to be refunded. In the event of cancellation by Exhibitor, 50% will be retained by CECU if notice of cancellation is received in writing before April 1, 2019, and no refund will be made for cancellation after April 1, 2019.

Annual Convention Sponsorships
Networking reception - $25,000
Your organization will have the opportunity to host one of three networking receptions in the Expo Hall. These evening events will provide opportunities for networking, connecting, and introductions to build on the activities taking place at the convention. Your organization name and logo will appear throughout the event and in all marketing materials as the primary host for the reception.
Campus Park - $25,000
Meet me in the park! The park, located in the center of the exposition hall, dubbed the Campus Park is a favorite gathering place for attendees daily at the convention. Attendees are able to network in the park, take a minute to catch-up on emails and enjoy meals together. Sponsorship would include creative brand integration into the space with your company name/ logo.
wifi - $20,000
Become the official provider of the Convention WiFi! Allow your name to be the gateway for attendees to access the internet, check their email and share on social media.
Help kick off Convention by treating attendees to the annual golf tournament! Tee times will occur on Sunday, June 2 and you can customize your golf package with the CECU staff.
Name badge holders
Company logo will be displayed on the name badge holder which all registrants will receive. (Name badge required for entrance at all convention events.)
Feature your company's logo on the official hotel keycard at the host hotel. Each attendee staying at the hotel will receive your customized card at check in to use throughout
Company name and logo will be included in the convention's official mobile app available for all attendees to download. The app includes schedule and session information. The sponsors receives special recognition in the final program.
Specialty bar - $10,000
You may remember the infamous BACON BAR featured at the 2017 Convention...Design your own specialty bar to treat attendees to during one of the receptions. Customize it yourself or let our team get creative.
Proudly display your organization name and logo by sponsoring the attendee portfolio.
Notebooks and Pens
Each attendee will receive a notebook with a pen as part of their convention portfolio. Sponsoring company's logo will be on the cover of the notebook.

Sponsor a snack break in the exhibit hall during the annual convention. Sponsorship includes logo placement on beverage stations and napkins.
