militarystudentsPrivate sector, career-focused education offers numerous benefits to military personnel and veterans.  For those deployed, the flexibility and convenience of the programs offered by PSCUs – either on base or online - helps servicemembers make a significant investment in their educational attainment and career advancement.  PSCUs work with military personnel to design programs tailored to the needs of a student deeply immersed in military culture and also those transitioning in a civilian one.  For example, PSCUs pioneered the online delivery of postsecondary education programs, and the sector was well suited to adapt to meet the needs of military students.   In fact, PSCUs are twice as likely as other institutions to offer online programs designed specifically to serve the military student.
