Higher Education Act

As the reauthorization process begins, APSCU proposes a number of recommendations that should be considered by Congress. Each proposed change works towards meeting three essential goals:

  • Affordability and the Skills Gap
  • Simplification
  • Accountability and Transparency
Achieving these goals is critical as American strives to meet the challenge of leading the world in the proportion of college-education citizens by 2020. Private sector colleges and universities are helping meet this challenge and are addressing the nagging skills gap that currently plagues our nation.
