APSCU Applauds President Obama for Signing Veterans' Education Bill Into Law

Washington, D.C. – Former Congressman Steve Gunderson, the president and chief executive officer of the Association of Private Sector Colleges and Universities (APSCU) today issued the following statement after President Obama signed the Improving Transparency of Education Opportunities for Veterans Act of 2012 into law:

"The President's signature of the Improving Transparency of Education Opportunities for Veterans Act of 2012 means that veterans will now have improved access to educational counseling and resources to help them choose the schools best meeting their educational needs. Thanks to a culmination of efforts, veterans will be better able to make informed decisions about their educations and their futures."
