APSCU has teamed up with Chartis Insurance Company and Cobbs Allen to offer an insurance program that protects against traditional risks associated most of which are excluded by the major insurance carriers. This program is exclusive to APSCU and Cobbs Allen and includes explicit coverage unavailable from other carriers including coverage for the return of tuition and fees, breach of a student contract, and coverage for deceptive trade practices. The APSCU/CA insurance program also gives schools the right to use certain prominent law firms with expertise in the PSCU sector. In addition, Cobbs Allen has negotiated steep discounts through Travelers Insurance Company for traditional property and casualty and workers compensation coverage.
