Electronic Transcripts - via Docufide
The Career College Association (CCA) signed a 3-year contract with
Docufide, Inc. to provide electronic transcript delivery services at a
discounted rate for current and future CCA members. These new transcript
services will affect CCA’s 1,400 plus member schools and their
nearly two million students each year for employment in over 200
occupational fields. CCA and Docufide expect there to a number of
value-add benefits to CCA members:
- Registrar offices at post-secondary institutions will save time in
processing both receiving and sending transcript requests.
- Removal or significant reduction in administrative or delivery error
by offering electronic transfer confirmation and instantaneous
transmission.
- Cost reduction by lowering the volume of paper processing as well as
the admissions approval process.
The CCA-Docufide relationship is the product of a 2008 effort by the
CCA Technology Committee to enhance the technological value-add for
career college students and CCA member schools. The Committee evaluated
all major e-transcript service providers, eventually selecting Docufide
as the company best suited to provide operational responsibilities in
electronic receipt and delivery of students’ academic information
across CCA membership.
