Serve On A APSCU Committee
Every two years we look to you, our members, to get involved in your
trade association by volunteering to serve on a committee.
As you may know, the role of a APSCU committee is to generate ideas
and make recommendations on key legislative or regulatory policy
questions to the APSCU staff and Board of Directors.
Committees are made up of individuals from schools, allied and allied
plus members. Your expertise in the sector is invaluable and we want to
ensure that we get a good cross-section of our membship serving on each
of the committees for the coming year.
Joining a committee will provide an opportunity to give back to the
sector, to network with others members, and help APSCU leadership
identify more members who want to play a larger role within the
organization. CCA's future leaders often come from those who actively
participate on committees.
Each committee is assigned a charge and is co-chaired by two
volunteers (usually one Board member and one from the general
membership). An appointment is for a two year term (officially July 1 -
June 30), but many individuals find the experience so fulfilling they
ask to serve again.

charges of the committees and how often they meet. We realize that many
of you have very busy schedules but do hope that you will find a
committee that works with your time commitment.
If you are interested in serving, we ask that you indicate your
first, second, and third choice so we can ensure that you serve where
you are most interested in making a difference! In order to meet this
tight time line, we ask that you e-mail us at committees@career.org
no later than August 27. Committee assignments will be
announced in early September via email.
