Vice-Chairman and Co-Founder.  Structured the acquisition of the Denver Institute of Technology which at that time had approximately $4.0m in revenue.  Over the past twenty years, I have had successive management roles that primarily focused on the student’s experience, quality of education, retention, and career services

Today the company has 19 on-ground campuses in six states and an online campus, with annual revenues over $300m.

GALENA CORPORATION                                                                CAMBRIDGE, MA

Vice-President and Co-Founder.  Raised a blind pool of equity capital.   Designed and successfully executed a search strategy to locate an acquisition candidate.

1981 – 1983

 

LEHMAN BROTHERS                                                                          NEW YORK, NY

1982 - 1983

 

Corporate Analyst, Financing Department.  Member of new capital markets group linking Corporate Finance with trading floor operations.  Actively involved in new product development, advised clients on debt and equity market movements and transactions, helped form shelf registration bids, automated and performed financial analysis for debt and equity offerings, and specialized in selling Lehman’s services to the banking industry.

1981-1982

 

Corporate Analyst, Corporate Finance.  Generalist on debt and equity offerings.  Assisted in merger fairness opinions, performed dividend and stock repurchase analyses, and developed an export finance model.
