Career College Association Announces New Board
Members
Washington, DC – The Career College Association (CCA) today
released the results of its 2009 Board elections.
Elected to three-year terms beginning July 1, 2009, are:
- Mark Dreyfus, President, ECPI College of
Technology, Virginia Beach, Virginia;
- James Hutton, Chairman of the Board, Anthem
Education Group, Phoenix, Arizona;
- Robert Herzog, Vice President and CFO, Harrison
College, Indianapolis, Indiana
Re-elected and now serving a full three-year term
is:
- Arthur Benjamin, Vice Chairman and CEO, ATI
Schools & Colleges, North Richland Hills, Texas;
Re-elected to a one-year term as Allied Board
Member is:
- Nancy Broff, Attorney, Dickstein Shapiro LLP,
Washington, DC
Executives leaving the CCA Board of Directors
are:
- Fran Voigt, President, New England Culinary
Institute, Montpelier, Vermont; and
- Patricia Kapper, Forefront Education, Inc.,
Inverness, Illinois.
“We are delighted to welcome such an
excellent group of newly elected and re-elected executives to the
CCA Board of Directors,” said CCA President Harris N. Miller.
“I am confident that with their knowledge and experience in
the sector, they will help take the Career College Association to the
next level. I would also like to recognize the outstanding service
of Fran Voigt and Pat Kapper, who leave the Board after years of
distinguished service.”
The CCA Board of Directors is chaired by Rene Champagne, retired former
Chairman and CEO of ITT Educational Services, Inc. Jonathan Liebman,
Chairman and CEO, Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts, serves as CCA
Vice Chairman. Other board members are: Rebecca Campoverde,
Vice President, Kaplan Higher Education Corporation; Anthony Guida,
Senior Vice President, Education Management Corporation; Renee Herzing,
President, Herzing University; Sabrina Kay, Chairman and CEO, Fremont
College; Art Keiser, Chancellor, Keiser University; Robert McNamara, CCO
and Senior Vice President, Career Education Corporation; David Pauldine,
President, DeVry University; Mark Pelesh, Executive Vice President,
Corinthian Colleges, Inc.; Jim Tolbert, CEO, Education Futures Group;
and Jamie Turner, Vice Chairman, Alta Colleges, Inc.

organization of accredited, private postsecondary schools, institutes,
colleges and universities that provide career-specific educational
