In addition to the multiple breakout sessions and presentations that
have already been scheduled for the Executive Management Seminar, we
have added additional sessions focusing exclusively on grassroots
training and advocacy. Topics will include how most effectively to
utilize your lobbying capabilities through Congressional visits to your
campuses, letter writing and phone call campaigns, in-person meetings
during Hill Day in Washington, DC, and more. The initial
grassroots training session will be held Sunday afternoon, January 31,
and will continue with additional sessions late morning on Monday,
February 1 and Tuesday, February 2.
One can attend the Grassroots Training without participating in the
Senior Executive Management Seminar. There is a $569 CCA member
registration fee for the Seminar, but no fee for the Grassroots
Training. CCA contact: Gregory Rovick.
