Team for Optimizing Policies for Students (TOPS) Award

APSCU conducts the TOPS Grassroots Outreach Awards annually to recognize outstanding grassroots outreach and advocacy across the United States and encourage and promote a legislative and regulatory environment that helps students at private sector colleges achieve success.

The main objectives of TOPS Grassroots Outreach programs are to establish strong relationships through local outreach efforts with members of Congress and state legislators, especially committee chairs and members of  education committees, and ensuring that equal postsecondary educational access and choice for students is at the top of the priority list of these lawmakers.
