Team for Optimizing Policies for Students (TOPS) Award

The TOPS Grassroots Outreach Awards is conducted annually by the Association of Private Sector Colleges and Universities to recognize outstanding grassroots outreach and advocacy across the United States and to encourage and promote a legislative and regulatory environment that will help students at career schools achieve success.

The main objectives of the TOPS Grassroots Outreach include: establishing strong relationships through local outreach efforts, especially with Members of Congress in both the House and the Senate and Statehouse Members serving in leadership positions, committee chairs, and other members of relevant education committees; and ensuring that equal post-secondary educational access and choice for students is at the TOP of the priority list of these Members of Congress and Statehouse Members.
